Eldred “Myrt” Florence Logan, 93, of Carthage, passed away on July 30, 2016. She was born on December 24, 1922 in Plummers Landing, KY to Isaac Edward and Laura Jane (Pitts) Hamilton. She was married 62 years to William Arthur Logan. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughters, Jerri Rucker and Judy Rucker-McMahan; son, Jackie (Anita) McIntosh; daughter-in-law, Kathy McIntosh; grandchildren, Theresa, David E., Mary, Anthony, Darla, Danielle, Scott, Eric, Shari, Edward, and Laurallee; numerous great grandkids; sister, Lona Mae Porter; many nieces and nephews; and Mitchell Logan, who she raised as if he was her own.

Myrt was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, David Eugene McIntosh; grandson, Jimmy Rucker; brothers, Jay, Orville, Ora, Arlie, Forest, Clayton, and her twin brother, Elza; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mamie (Len) Davis, Pauline (Mitch) Porter, Nancy (Russell) Hunt, and Orville Porter.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Indiana and Kentucky, where she will also be buried.
